The wait is now over. You can finally setup a simple personal budget that will be easy to see and follow. To setup your budget enter categories (income, fixed/variable expenses) that best represent your income/spending habits. Then for each month enter a projected budget amount for each category. Finally input each transaction (cash inflow/outflow). Once these three groups of data are entered you will see what your totals are per month/year.

Beta Testing
At this time MACANS Budget 0.9.x.x is in beta testing. Please be advised that there may be some bugs with it. If you run into a bug please send us as much information about the bug as possible.
Requirements
In order for MACANS Budget to work the following are required:
- Windows XP/Vista Operating System
- .NET Framework 2.0 (Free download from Microsoft)
- Access Runtime (Free download from Microsoft) - If you have Microsoft Access 2007 installed then you do not need to install Access Runtime
Terminology
- Cash Inflows - Your income, interest, or any other money coming in
- Cash Outflows - Your fixed and variable expenses, contributions, savings or any other money going out
- Surplus - The positive number that is leftover when you subtract Cash Outflows from Cash Inflows
- Deficit - The negative number that results when you subtract Cash Outflows from Cash Inflows
Tip
There is a quick way to enter a fixed budgeted amount for all months in a given year. In budget tab select all months.
Then enter a budgeted amount for that year for the category of choice. The program will divide the annual ammount into 12 months and enter the divided amount for each month.
